What Happens on Your Vortex Tour
Meet Your Guide & Set Your Intention
Meet your guide at the designated trailhead. Before we step onto the land, take a moment to establish your intention for the experience. What are you hoping to release? What are you calling in? Clarity, healing, grounding, renewal. The vortex amplifies whatever you bring to it. Beginning with intention is what separates a meaningful experience from a walk in the desert.
Guided Hike to the Vortex Site
Your guide leads you on a beautiful hike through Sedona's iconic red rock terrain arriving, at last, at one of Sedona's most powerful vortex locations. Bell Rock. Cathedral Rock. Airport Mesa. Boynton Canyon. Each site carries its own energy, and your guide will help you choose the one that resonates with what you need most.
Breath-work & Energy Clearing
As you arrive at the site, your guide leads you into a gentle breathwork practice. Slow the nervous system, opening the body, and create space for the vortex energy to be received. Many guests describe a warmth, a tingling, a deep stillness, a sense of suddenly being very present. Some feel a wave of release. Others feel an expansion of clarity they have never experienced before.
Deep Guided Meditation in the Energy Field
Settled into the vortex, your guide leads you through a full, immersive meditation. Root into the earth and tune your awareness to the energy that has drawn people to this land for centuries. You are not just sitting near the vortex. You are part of it. And it is working on you.
Integration and Return
As the session closes, your guide holds space for whatever is present — emotion, stillness, insight, joy. There is no rush to move. The return hike is gentle and reflective. By the time you arrive back at the trailhead, you will feel different. Quieter. Clearer. More like yourself.

The Sedona Vortex Factor
A Sedona vortex is believed to be a location where the earth’s energy is especially strong, flowing in a spiraling pattern that can influence how you feel physically, mentally and emotionally.
While this energy can’t be measured in a traditional scientific way, it is often experienced through the body — as a sense of calm, clarity, inspiration or subtle physical sensations like tingling or stillness.
Many describe vortex sites as places where intention is amplified, making them ideal for meditation, reflection and meaningful personal experiences.
While every Vortex experience is unique, many people report feeling:
-
A deep sense of calm or mental clarity
-
Heightened awareness or emotional release
-
A subtle energetic sensation in the body
-
A feeling of being more present and connected
In many ways, the vortex acts as a catalyst. It helps you slow down, tune in, and access a deeper state of awareness.

A Brief History of The Votexes
People have felt something different about this land for a very long time.
The history of Red Rock Country dates back approximately 10,000 years.
The Sinagua people, the Hopi, the Yavapai-Apache — generation after generation, these peoples used specific locations here for healing ceremonies, vision quests and tribal gatherings, drawn to the same sites that draw visitors today. They called it the heartbeat of the Sacred Land of the Red Rocks. They did not need a name for the energy.
They simply felt it.
Boynton Canyon remains a spiritual center for the Yavapai-Apache people to this day. Cathedral Rock is considered by Native Americans to be the birthplace of humankind. These are not tourist stories. They are ancient ones.
The word "Vortex" is more recent.
In 1980, a psychic named Page Bryant was living in Sedona when she described encountering a spiritual entity who revealed several distinct energy sites in Red Rock Country. She named them "vortexes" — and identified the same four sites that remain canonical today: Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa and Boynton Canyon.
Seven years later, 10,000 people gathered in Sedona for a spiritual gathering. After that, the Verde Valley would never be the same.
Then science arrived.
The red sandstone contains high concentrations of iron oxide — the same compound that gives the rocks their color — and at specific sites, these deposits create localized magnetic field variations confirmed by U.S. Geological Survey aerial surveys.
Electrical engineer Ben Lonetree then spent ten years measuring brainwave activity in volunteers at vortex sites and found a close, documented correlation between sudden magnetic events in the earth and spontaneous shifts in human brainwave frequency.
What the Yavapai-Apache felt for thousands of years. What Page Bryant mapped in 1980. What hundreds of thousands of visitors have experienced since. It may all have a measurable basis in the earth beneath your feet.
We are not here to tell you what to believe. We are here to take you into it and let you decide for yourself.

Ready For Your Sedona Vortex Experience?
There are a lot of vortex tours in Sedona, AZ. Jeep tours, van tours, group tours, walking tours. Most of them are wonderful. And none of them are quite like ours.
This experience was born from a deep love for this land and a belief that Sedona's greatest gift — the vortex energy — is best received not from a moving vehicle, but in stillness. Not in a group of twelve, but in the quiet of a private experience.
Not by hearing about the vortex, but by feeling it.
Our guides are trained meditation teachers and yogic practitioners, not just naturalists or historians. They know how to hold space. They know how to read the energy of the land. And they know how to help you drop in — even if you have never meditated a day in your life.
Our guests consistently describe their Vortex experience as the highlight of their time in Sedona. Some say it changed them. We believe it.
Are you ready to begin your journey?
"Truly transformational and peaceful experience...I embodied a sense of inner peace that I have a never experienced.
